Eco-friendly event: Planting

The Eco-Friendly Event Planting project is an initiative dedicated to promoting ecological awareness and sustainable practices through the act of planting flowers and young trees in designated areas. The project has an ecological theme and we want to emphasize the importance of planting flowers and young trees in certain places. Ecology is an eternal topic and it is always necessary to work on it. The primary goal of this project is to enhance the natural environment by introducing flora that not only beautify the surroundings but also contribute to biodiversity and ecosystem health. By planting flowers and young trees, we beautify the environment and produce clean air. Through this project we maintain the bio-universe. Planting flowers and trees plays a crucial role in improving air quality. Through photosynthesis, plants absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen, thereby helping to mitigate pollution and providing cleaner air for all living beings. By fostering afforestation and planting diverse species of flowers, the project contributes to the preservation of local biodiversity. This is essential for maintaining balanced ecosystems and supporting various forms of wildlife. The project serves as a platform for educational outreach, raising awareness about the importance of ecological balance and sustainable living practices among participants and the broader community. The project will be implemented through organized events where participants, including volunteers and community members, will come together to plant flowers and young trees in identified areas. These events will be conducted in collaboration with local authorities, environmental organizations, and schools to maximize impact and community engagement. Each plant contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gases and enhances local air quality, thus positively impacting the environment. By involving volunteers of all ages, the project fosters a sense of community and collective responsibility towards environmental conservation. The planted flora will continue to grow and thrive, providing ongoing benefits such as shade, habitat for wildlife, and aesthetic enhancement of public spaces. By encouraging the act of planting flowers and young trees, it not only beautifies the environment but also reinforces the interconnectedness between human activities and the health of our planet. Through this initiative, we envision a cleaner, greener future where ecological balance is preserved for generations to come.

For a better future

Project “For a Better Future” aims to address the pressing issue of environmental pollution and its impact on our health by implementing a series of initiatives to clean and green our surroundings. The project is motivated by the visible threats posed by pollution to our well-being and the environment. The problem and the reason why we are doing this project is because of the polluted environment that threatens our health. That is why with this project we want to change the appearance of our city by cleaning the parks, streets, paths, etc. We also plan to organize planting trees, flowers, building small houses for birds or bees, feeding the street dogs and building huts. The project will be implemented through conduct awareness campaigns to educate the community about the importance of environmental conservation and cleanliness, secure necessary permissions and partnerships with local authorities, NGOs, and community groups, organize cleanup events on a regular basis, involving volunteers from schools, businesses, and local residents, begin tree planting initiatives in designated areas, ensuring proper species selection and maintenance. Our plan is to organize regular cleanup drives to remove litter and debris from public spaces, encouraging proper disposal of waste through awareness campaigns and installing bins, planting trees in urban areas to improve air quality, provide shade, and enhance the aesthetic appeal of the city, introducing flowers and plants to beautify public spaces and support local biodiversity, constructing small hotels for bees and birds to create safe spaces for wildlife within the city. Our expected outcome is cleaner parks, streets, and paths will enhance public health and quality of life, increased green spaces and planted trees will improve air quality and provide natural habitats, foster a sense of responsibility and ownership among citizens towards their environment. We plan to make long-term sustainability through educational programs to instill environmental stewardship in future generations, maintain collaborations with local businesses, NGOs, and government agencies for ongoing support and resources. By implementing these measures under Project “For a Better Future,” we aim to create a cleaner, greener, and healthier environment for current and future generations, fostering a sustainable and resilient community.

Cooking with a cause and goal
The project has a social theme, i.e. joint cooking with parents-peers of a certain type of food, as well as with the users of the day center and donating the same to the Day Center for the Elderly with Active Aging – Kriva Palanka and the Day Center for Persons with Disabilities – Kriva Palanka.
Cooking with parent-peers improves social skills and emphasizes the importance of healthy eating and its benefits.
The activities in the project will be: cooking healthy food
– gluten-free,
– vegetarian,
– protein,
– hygienic-diet food according to a regimen suitable for adults (chronically ill or diabetics).
The goal is to contribute to increasing awareness of proper and healthy nutrition for people’s health, except for the elderly and people with disabilities – with an emphasis on the entire community contributing to a healthier nation and population, thus contributing to SDG 3 , Good health and well-being, as well as SDG 2, zero hunger , which will contribute to the achievement of the UN 2030 goals.
