SUDECU concert

“It was a challenge for me to be part of the SUDECU program because the project offers many new knowledge and skills, peer learning, meeting new people, developing new ideas, and implementing them. I am especially proud to participate in a project that brings about positive changes in society while strengthening sustainability and democracy,” says Zlatica. According to her, peer education allows adults to connect with people of similar age and interests, enhancing social support and broadening their network of acquaintances. Peers can exchange personal experiences and knowledge, which can be inspiring and beneficial in the learning process. The SUDECU program is supported by Zurich University of Teacher Education and funded by the Charity Fund of the Canton of Zurich, Switzerland PHZH International Projects in Education.

Statement

„One of the key reasons why peer learning is so important is that mutual teaching among peers fosters the development of social and emotional skills. Each participant has the opportunity to be both a teacher and a student, which creates greater connection and understanding. I applied to the SUDECU project to share knowledge and experiences with my peers and to learn new skills, as we all have unique perspectives. In doing so, I hope to contribute not only to my personal development but also to the collective success and progress of my peers. I am grateful to TAKT for investing in innovative concepts and sustainable democratic culture,” says Andrej. According to Andrej, peer education represents a process in which individuals of similar age, who share common life experiences and challenges, learn from each other through the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and skills. The SUDECU program is supported by Zurich University of Teacher Education and funded by the Charity Fonds of the Canton of Zurich, Switzerland PHZH International Projects in Education.

SUDECU Skopje

Within the framework of the “SUDECU” project, we successfully implemented the first phase of peer projects in Skopje! In Skopje, a total of three projects were implemented, one project for parents and two projects for youth: 1.”A bridge between youth and traditions” – The project aims to create an empathetic community, where different generations can share their experiences and knowledge, and also learn from their peers. 2. “Back 2 Green” – Utilization of green areas in the city. The goal is to expand the project as much as possible and to have as many green areas as possible (gardens/meadows, etc.). 3. “The soul of the city” – Exploring the living world of graffiti and murals in Skopje, this project (documentary film) captures the essence of art that shapes the identity of the city. Many thanks to all participants.
